Audi sold 640,200 cars until May worldwide, which represents an increase of 6.7% over the same period last year, due to the growth in Asia and the U.S. markets, and despite declines in France, Italy and Spain.
Audi sales in China increased 14.4% to 183,660 units, as well as in India where it grew 24.8% to 4096 vehicles. By May, in the U.S., the German brand sold 60,571 cars, 15.4% higher than in the same months of 2012.
However the brand sales suffered declines in France 9.5% (25,047 units), Italy 10% (20,274 units) and Spain 1.3% (17,622 vehicles).
Audi sold in May, 137,200 vehicles worldwide, up 6.4% from global sales in the same month of 2012.
